Poppy, Labradoodle

Poppy jumped up as a puppy and it wasn't really a problem for us. However, once the grandchildren started toddling, her attempts to jump up at them sent them sprawling and we were afraid they may get injured. Following the advice in the 'Paws Down! Teach Your Dog Not To Jump Up', we tried various techniques until we found one that suited us. Then we all kept to the rules and quite quickly she learned to keep her paws on the floor when greeting everyone, including the grandchildren.
