Elderly Dogs That Don't Want To Be Left
Elderly dogs that begin barking when left, especially if it happens at night, may have some early signs of dementia.
If your dog is over 7 years of age and has recently started barking when left, particularly on waking in the middle of the night, it is worth getting in contact with your veterinary surgeon to see what can be done to help your dog to cope better, both when you are there and also when your dog is left alone.
